The 2024 In Care event, held on October 17th was a huge success. Several local clubs and organisations were invited to attend, including the Dementia Club, Stroke Club, She Shed and others.
As the picture shows, the event was well attended and entertainment was provided by Max, who, once again came out of retirement to support Rotary providing a party atmosphere. Staffed by Rotary members the In Care event organised and run primarily by Rotarian Haydn Davis, attendees were treated to a buffet of sandwiches and cake with lashings of tea and coffee (no ginger beer).
This is typical of the community-spirited event supported by Rotary alongside the charitable works conducted during the year.
Supporting and thanking the separate club members for helping each other and Abergele residents is important, the In Care event is just our way of saying “Good Job” to them all.
